Welcome to Violet Grove Farms Chocolate Tour & Tasting. You're invited to a fun, informative and tasty journey of chocolate in an idyllic orchard setting.
What To Expect
During our 60 minute tour:
Education - We will share the history of the cacao plant, its traditions, health benefits and stages of processing to get from bean to bar. We're hoping to convince you of the many merits of this fantastic fruit (and you may never eat a KitKat again).

Tasting - Throughout the entire tour, you will be given at least 10 chocolate tasting samples. These will include:
- Raw cacao bits
- Cacao pulp juice
- Chocolate samples with fruit
- Chocolate samples with flower inclusions
- Chocolate samples with surprise flavours
- Ceremonial Cacao beverage

Farm Experience - (weather permitting) The tour will also take you on a short walk through our orchard to see & smell firsthand where the inspiration for some of our wonderful chocolate bar flavours come from. A chance to enjoy the sunshine, fruit and flowers here on our farm.
Sustainability Mission
At Violet Grove Farms, we are committed to environmental farming. Our cacao is sourced from a small farm co-op in Ecuador, where cacao is sustainably grown. We strive to keep the chocolate and added orchard flavours as pure as possible. Throughout the process from bean to chocolate bar, no preservatives or chemicals are used.
