• Our U-pick field is open to the public only on designated U-pick days or by appointment. 

• We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check our Facebook or Instagram page right before your visit. This is where we post the latest up-to-date info. Sometimes we have to cancel due to weather or lack of blooms! 

• Park in the marked spots by the Cottage Market or in the spots just inside the gate. We’ll be here to welcome you and walk you through the U-pick field. 

• Grab a basket and a pair of snips. You will need these out in the orchard. All flowers are priced per stem - most are $2.00.  An average bouquet costs $30-$40.  Apples and pears are sold by weight.

• Have fun! There are over 30 types of flowers and foliage, 8 varieties of apples, & 3 varieties of pears to choose from; so be sure to explore! Many folks choose to walk through the field and see all the varieties available (which are clearly marked) before they begin cutting.

• We will be happy to instruct you on the best techniques for cutting flowers or picking fruit.  Remember while picking your own flowers, cut stems as long as possible. We can trim them to size after you finish selecting.

• When you’re done, please return your basket and snips to the cottage, and come inside to checkout.

• If you brought your own vase, bucket, etc. to take your flowers home in, we will transfer them for you with fresh water. 

• We can also wrap your bouquet up for you, or you can purchase one of several vessels we have on sale in the cottage store.
